Flavored Butters | Circa TLM 2021

Recently, the internet has become obsessed with flavored butters and butter boards. But did you know that way back in our Spring 2021 issue we talked about flavored butter?! You can call us trendsetters ;)

When it comes to flavored butter the opportunities are endless! Salty, sweet, or spicy. It’s all up to you!

Here’s a few suggestions:

SWEET:

Cinnamon sugar

Whipped pumpkin spice butter

SAVORY:

Bacon butter

Garlic rosemary butter

SPICY:

Jalapeño honey butter

Chile butter

We chose to make a sriracha butter, a garlic + basil butter, and a lemon honey butter!

Flavored butter is easy to do at home with ingredients that you have on hand or in your garden right now! All you need is butter and a few herbs or spices to enhance your meat, fish, pasta, or bread.

Mix together your favorite butter with a few herbs or spices and freeze. It’s as simple as that! Makes a great gift or just a fun twist on a classic!
